The best time for outdoor photos is what photographers refer to as ‘Golden Hour’, which is the first hour after sunrise and the last hour before sunset. During this time, the lighting is soft and even, avoiding harsh shadows. The sunlight has a warm tone, making photos look natural and warm. This period also prevents unflattering shadows on faces and creates beautiful backgrounds.

During the newborn photo session, I'll bring a variety of swaddles, outfits, bows, blankets, and baskets ready. However, you're welcome to bring any personal items you'd like to incorporate into the photos, such as a special stuffed animal, an embroidered blanket, or a favorite swaddle or bow.
It's helpful to have a pacifier available, even if your baby doesn't usually use one, as it can help soothe and calm down baby during the session.
Newborn sessions are scheduled with extra time set aside for feeding breaks and diapers changes. If baby takes a bottle, make sure to have one on hand to keep him/her happy and sleepy throughout the session.

My turnaround time for getting photos back to you is 1 week. The only exception to this is wedding photos, which will be returned within 4 to 6 weeks from the wedding day.

After you book a session and have paid your deposit, you will receive a questionnaire asking you about all of your preferences as far as timing and location of your session. Once I have receive this information, I can help to narrow down where we want to do the session at.
There are many locations in the area that I have shot at and have fallen in love with, so I will help to make sure we end up doing your session at the perfect place for your family.

Choosing outfits can be both exciting and overwhelming. I recommend wearing coordinated colors rather than matching outfits. Think about the location – for a beach shoot, light, flowing fabrics work really well, while in an urban setting, slightly formal attire could look even better. And most importantly, wear something that reflects your family's personality and makes each of you feel like yourselves! :)

However, I ensure that the final edited images you receive will be of the highest quality, reflecting my professional standards.
